Lindsay Zizumbo

Prior to joining the lab, Lindsay worked at the Exoro Group, a public affairs firm focusing on policy and strategic communications in the government sector, and brings with her a diverse background and more than 10 years of experience in fundraising, strategic communications, government relations, and public policy.

Previously, as the National Program Director at the Hinckley Institute of Politics, Lindsay oversaw the nationally renowned internship program. She recruited, placed, and advised undergraduate and graduate students and maintained key relationships with government, private, and nonprofit organizations. In this capacity, she assisted with federal and statewide governmental relations on behalf of the University of Utah.

Lindsay also served as Campaign Manager and Community Outreach Leader for Former Congressman Jim Matheson, and also as the Executive Director of the Count My Vote Initiative, which successfully achieved sweeping election reforms during the 2014 general legislative session.

Lindsay serves on a number of boards and is a founding member of the nationally recognized Real Women Run group, a nonpartisan group focused on empowering women to run for public office. Lindsay graduated from the University of Utah.
