Kim McCoy Wade
Kim McCoy Wade, was appointed chief of the CalFresh Branch at the Welfare to Work Division of the California Department of Social Services in 2015. McCoy Wade has been an independent consultant since 2009. She was a campaign manager at Together for California’s Future in 2008, executive director at the California Association of Food Banks from 2004 to 2008 and director of education and advocacy at Food Banks of Northern California from 2001 to 2003. McCoy Wade was a campaign manager at the Alliance for Justice in 2000, a senior domestic policy analyst at Bread for the World from 1998 to 1999, assistant general counsel at the Children’s Defense Fund from 1995 to 1998 and was an organizer at 9to5 National Association of Working Women from 1991 to 1992.
She is a member of the East Bay Women's Political Caucus. McCoy Wade earned a Juris Doctor degree from the New York University School of Law.
